A self-taught designer and brand strategist with over twenty years of experience, Sara has built a career spanning cities around the globe, from Sydney and London to Montreal and San Francisco. Now rooted back in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, Sara is the founder of Stella Creative Studio and co-creator of the Better Brand Academy. Over the past two decades, she has transformed from a freelance graphic designer into a full-service branding expert. Today, she provides fractional marketing leadership and collaborates with organizations to craft compelling brand identities that foster trust and meaningful connections with their audiences.

Driven by a deep curiosity about her clients’ goals, Sara has developed a full-scale Brand Academy grounded in her proprietary Brand Matrix framework. This approach equips businesses with tools to align their identity with strategy and decision-making, empowering leaders to drive growth and connection across every facet of their operations. With a passion for education and marketing execution, Sara specializes in transforming brands into powerful drivers of success and impact.

Our mission is to advocate for a fair music ecosystem in Charlotte by engaging venue owners, event producers and organizations on the value of inclusivity in music programming as well as through establishing new equitable music platforms for all.
